Laurie H. Adams, President/CEO
Laurie Adams is a graduate of North Carolina State University and has an M.B.A. from Meredith College. As President and CEO of Fred Adams Paving, Laurie oversees the day to day operations of the business. Focusing on procuring new business and managing the immigration program, Laurie has a direct impact on the growth and stability of the organization.

Fred Adams, Jr.
Fred Adams, Jr. is a graduate of North Carolina State University and started Fred Adams Paving Co., Inc. in 1984. He is actively involved with the Interlocking Concrete Paver Institute (ICPI), the organization which represents the interlocking concrete paving industry. ICPI sets the standards and technical specifications and offers testing and certification. Fred is the immediate past Chairman of the Construction Committee of the ICPI, which oversees construction practices and contractor issues with installing concrete interlocking pavers. He is currently serving on the Board of ICPI. Fred Adams Paving Co., Inc. is a Certified Contractor by the ICPI. Fred is also a Certified Pervious Concrete Technician named as such by the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association.

Debbie Adams-Saunders
Debbie Adams-Saunders has been the chief commercial estimator for Fred Adams Paving since 1984. As FAP’s chief estimator and project manager, her responsibility is to procure bids and then follow up on each bid in order to close the sale and receive a contract. Additionally, Debbie handles all the necessary submittals required and any new commercial customers.

Tomas Prieto
Tomas Prieto has been with FAP since 1989. He has many years of experience as a foreman and as an installer. Tomas is a well rounded employee with exceptional leadership skills and excels at multi-tasking.

Santiago Gutierrez (Foreman)
Santiago Gutierrez (Foreman) has been with Fred Adams Paving since 1989. He has shown great leadership skills as a crew foreman and also has years of experience in the paver installation industry. He has received training through ICPI and is a certified installer.

Courtney Johnson
Courtney Johnson has been with Fred Adams Paving since 2001. As a commercial estimator, her responsibilities are to procure bids, handle the necessary submittals, and follow up on each bid.

Thomas Meador Martin
Thomas Meador Martin is Fred Adams Paving’s field superintendent and has been with FAP since 2004. He has been educated through the Interlocking Concrete Paver Institute (ICPI). He is also a Certified Pervious Concrete Technician named as such by the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association.

John Parks
John Parks, Fred Adams Paving’s Assistant Superintendent, has been working in the paver industry since 1988 and has done both residential and commercial applications. John is ICPI Certified and is a NCMA Level 1 Segmental Retaining Wall Installer. He is also a Certified Pervious Concrete Technician named as such by the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association.

Ron Whaley
Ron Whaley has been with FAP since 2004. He services all walk-in customers and handles all yard sales. He also has been educated through the Interlocking Concrete Paver Institute (ICPI).

Mark Tiernan
Mark Tiernan, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, began with Fred Adams Paving in 2004 as an estimator and project manager. He has been in the paving industry for over six years. Mark is an Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute certified paver installer and salesman, as well as a NCMA Level I Segmental Retaining Wall Installer.

John Saunders
John Saunders joined FAP in 2007 as a residential sales estimator. He has four years experience in the hardscape industry and is a ICPI Certified installer.
